Worthing Radio Events Group held a ‘Codar Test and Repair’ day on 28th January at the QTH of Mike, G0JXX.

We're not sure if it’s a record but we had 9 AT5 as well as a CR70A receiver and a 160/80 tx made by G3WCE.  One AT5 came to Mike from a local amateur who thought it was scrap; it wasn’t! Actually it was on an ‘unusual’ frequency and as this part of Sussex was a hot bed of MW pop pirates in the 60s you can guess what it was used for!  Now retuned to the original frequency, it was tested with the rest and there are now 9 more working Codar AT5 in service!
